GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS (2021)

All 2021 presenters must complete a AV consent form and COI Form to participate in the 2021 conference:

All presenters:

(1) You have any current conflicts of interest

OR

(2) If you are a returning presenter (originally slated to present in 2020) and your COI status has changed from your 2020 COI submission.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

CONFERENCE ACCESS:

All presenters/attendees will be sent Zoom Links to the conference sessions. These links will be sent out April 15th, 2021. The links will be sent to the email address you used when registering for your conference ticket. Please make sure to register for the 2021 Conference by April 14th, 2021, so that you receive this email with links. If you do not receive an email to these links by April 15th, 2021 by 3:00pm EST, please email Harmony Mohr (mohrh@upmc.edu) for resolution. 

PRESENTATION DETAILS:

You will be able to advance your own PPT slides for the 2021 Conference. 

We ask that you please send us a copy of your PPT by 4/5/21 (if you have any conflicts of interest, so that they can be reviewed ) or by 4/9/21 (if no conflicts). While you will be able to advance your own slides during the presentation, if you send us a copy, conference organizers can make your slides separately available on our website for attendees to follow along with, or to keep on file in case any technical issues would arise during the conference. Please send to Harmony Mohr (mohrh@upmc.edu) and cc: Doreen Barkowitz (barkowitzdh@upmc.edu). 

PRESENTATION TIME ALLOTMENTS

Presenters will have the following time allotments for their sessions:

Plenary Sessions: 45 min/each

Individual Talks: 20 min/each

Speed Data-ing Sessions: 5 min/each

Posters: 3 min/each "elevator pitches", 2 min/each to engage with audience/take questions
